Alcohol and Drug Helpline—This is a 24-hour free service that offers support, information about 12-step programs, and referrals to an extensive database of social service agencies throughout San Mateo County. Call 650-573-3950
 
Archway—Provides court-mandated education and counseling for adults convicted of domestic violence offences, drug possession, being under the influence of illegal drugs, or driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Participants learn about addiction, anger management, stress management and communication, as well as the legal and social consequences of their actions. Call 650-366-8433
 
Counseling Clinic—Provides affordable individual and family counseling for adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, relationships and communication issues. Clients are able to learn new coping strategies, change negative patterns and increase parenting skills. For more information click here or call 650-591-9623 x128.
 
Crisis Hotline—This 24-hour telephone hotline offers counseling for people who are feeling depressed or suicidal. Our lines are safe and anonymous places to explore feelings and concerns, vent frustrations, clarify problems, get referrals or just to talk.

First Chance Outpatient—This is an outpatient program for non-violent simple drug possession offenders that provides substance abuse treatment instead of incarceration, as dictated by California Proposition 36. Participants learn about anger management, domestic violence, mental health, parenting, and receive case management, individual and group counseling, follow-up support, and referrals to other resources. First Chance Sobering Station—This is a 24-hour program that services as an alternative to jail for persons arrested for driving under the influence or public intoxication. Services include housing during the period of inebriation, substance abuse assessment, referral services and extended case management. Call 650-595-8165
 

Healthy Homes—This is a home-visiting program that provides counseling and advice for families with children under the age of 5 years who have witnessed family violence. Case managers connect families to community resources such as food, housing, clothes, medical care, daycare, and vocational training. Clinicians work with the family members to heal the trauma, help parent-child bonding, and increase parenting skills. Call 650-579-0361 x15.
 
Parent Support Line—This is a 24-hour free service where parents can explore feelings and concerns, vent frustrations, clarify problems, get referrals or just talk. Call 650-579-0358
 
Women's Enrichment Center—This is an intensive day treatment program for women diagnosed with both substance abuse and mental health issues. Clients attend classes 5 hours a day, 5 days a week, learning about addiction and mental health issues, as well as housing, occupational skills, finance, parenting, medical and dental care.
