Michael was recently appointed Chief Executive Officer of Youth and Family Enrichment Services (YFES), following 16 years serving on the boards of both Family and Community Enrichment Services (FACES) and YFES. As Chairman of the Board of FACES he was active in initiating the merger of FACES and Youth and Family Assistance (YFA) IN 2003. Prior to joining the board of FACES in 1992, Michael was elected to the Belmont-Redwood Shores School District, serving two terms as President of the Board. Michael's strong commitment to the children and families of our community is evidenced by his more than 24 years of volunteer service. Michael's professional background includes serving in senior management positions in both finance and operations for a number of companies in the Bay Area. His passion for YFES and the services that the agency provides to San Mateo County made the decision to accept the Chief Executive Officer position an easy one.
